Musicals comprised the 1990 Season schedule. Several musicals had not been seen on the Playhouse boards in several years. Stop the World I Want To Get Off and Anything Goes were two such musicals. Me and My Girl also made its Playhouse debut that year. |

Anything Goes was performed in June. The cast starred Dawn M. Ward as Reno Sweeney. Dawn returned several years later to perform as Sr. Robert Anne in Nunsense. This production shot featured Cathy Welker as Bonnie and Jerome Vivona as Moonface Martin. |

Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music was performed in June and July. In the leading roles were Diane Wallahan as Maria and Stephen Newport Captain von Trapp. Seen in this production shot is Madelon Gignac as The Mother Abbess. During one of the matinee performances of The Sound of Music, a tornado touched down on the Delaware River behind the theatre knocking out power for days. The cast of The Sound of Music played to a sold out house that particular day and even during the power outage valiently tried to continue on with the performance. They did end up stopping the show as power ultimately didn't resume for several days. |

Guys and Dolls was performed in July. Shannon Barr appeared as Sarah Brown and Steve Newport as Sky Masterson, the slick gangster who has the luck of the Irish behind him. |

Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I was performed in August. In the starring roles were Wendy Yazujian as Anna and Bennett Pologe as The King of Siam. |

Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance was performed for two weeks in August and September. The production featured Christopher Clark as Frederick and Diane Wallahan as Mabel. |

Ending the season was Oklahoma!, Me and My Girl and Annie. |
